XDCC Report is a unique IRC search engine that indexes (eXtended Direct Client-to-Client) XDCC packets that are available for download via numerous IRC networks.
Internet Relay Chat (IRC) is a real-time internet chat protocol that allows for private messaging, group discussions via channels, and file transfers via Direct Client-to-Client (DCC) sub-protocol.
In order to download the XDCC packets you find here at XDCC Report, you will first need to connect to an IRC network using an IRC client.
Once you have installed an IRC client, perform an XDCC search and click on the XDCC packet number. Your browser should automatically launch your IRC client and prompt you to connect the appropriate IRC network. When you are connect to the IRC network, you need to join the appropriate channel where the XDCC bot is located. In most cases, the IRC client will automatically join the correct channel after click on the XDCC packet number link.
Now that you are on the correct IRC network and have joined the correct channel, simply paste (keyboard shortcut: ctrl+v). The download command should have been placed in your clipboard when you clicked upon the XDCC packet number. In the event that download command was not placed within your clipboard, you can view the download command by click on the “more info” link or the line that the XDCC packet is listed on.
If you would like to submit your network or channel please fill out the submit form here. Alternatively, you can make a post in the “spider request” section of our forum. There are certain requirements that channels must meet in order to be placed within our index.
Currently, we do not have any specific requirements, other then the channel must have atleast five XDCC bots and that there is user activity.
